Dog Days of Summer Carnival The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter is hosting its Dog Days of Summer Carnival 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Shippensburg Township Park, 304 Britton Road. Admission is free and the event will include games, food, vendors, a bake sale, bargains from the CVAS thrift stores and adoptable animals.
