FUQUAY-VARINA — Willard Moore spent decades of his life as a dog lover in waiting unwilling to subject a canine companion to his long hours of work and lack of space for a pet to roam. But when he retired, he sought a member of his favorite breed, an English setter, to occupy his expansive Western Wake yard. Yet within months of adopting Molly, chronic seizures forced him to put the dog down.
